Synopsis
A not-so-brave knight is on a quest for Fame and Fortune – legend says rescuing a princess is the way to go. And in those same fairy tales, there’s only one way to slay the dragon that holds the fair lady captive: find the invincible sword. To reach his goal, the knight is ready to go far. Maybe even as far as 850 meters…
850 METERS is a short film entirely produced ‘after hours’ by a small team of people who are passionate about animation, and moving images in general. A very long and intense process, but also a very fun experience! After over 3 years of production, the short is completed in January 2013, and we hope it will soon meet festivals’ audiences around the world. The film has also been pre-sold to CANAL+, for TV broadcast in France later on this year.
Making of
Over the past 3 years, THURISTAR has also been producing an online “making-of” series following the production steps, the enthousiasm and the struggles of its small team, from the origins of the project to voice recording, going through storyboard and animation.
